Hey Everyone,
Another easy day at work. This is getting scary. It is warm but raining and we they warn that a cool front is coming and we can probably say goodbye to the nice warm weather till spring.
My friend Sharon is one of a kind. We are total opposites that get along better because of it. She knows I am cold all the time and love the warm weather, where as she is from a New England state and loves brisk weather. She finally cracked me up yesterday with her honest opinion. She says she hopes she gets to hell before me, because when I get there I'll just start to bitch for them to turn up the heat. She wants to stake out a good spot on the opposite side from me, where it might be cooler. It has been a long time since I had such a good laugh. She was hurt, she was serious!!! You can imagine the debating, bantering and down right fights we have over how warm or cool, to keep the shop. She is one of a kind!!

Hey all,
Slow day at work thankfully. My via voice arrived and Lee may be right that it will take forever to get it to recognize my accent, which she say I have. I sound fine to me! ;-D Nice warm fall day again. I know it won't last!

Monday
Nice fall day here today, really warm. Makes me dread the cold weather coming by the end of the month. I just want to keep this day till spring.

Talked to Lynn most of the day on IM, brainstorming outlines for two new fics. She made me feel real special when she kept falling asleep. ;-D She works nights and had not been to sleep yet. She wanted so badly to talk on IM and was enjoying the ideas bounding around, but after she admitted that she was fading on me. I refused to buzz her. She definately needed to sleep. A hazard of working and loving being on line. No time for sleep. ;-D

We did better after she had 4 hours sleep. She lives on power naps. Wish I could. we were really on a roll with outlining.

My Via Voice arrived today and I'm still figuring out how to command it!!!!! I will succeed!!!

Sunday
Just talked to my cousin in the LA area and she's home safe now. Two homes in her community burned about a block from her. She had a very scary time getting out, as she watched the fire flow down the hills toward her like lava. One fire from the north and one from the south, with tornadic winds ahead of them. The worst part was, she was home alone, no car and on oxygen. Her mom made it back in time to get her out and they even dropped one of her extra tanks in the driveway and could not even stop to grab it back up. They had to fly out of there. Good news, no damage to them and no one was hurt in her area. Both her mom and her have decided they really do not want to go to hell after this. They figure that church attendance will rise, now. They, for sure, will be there. She needs to write a book. This is like the third time that she as been involved in a life threatening situation. Hope she has nine lives. Blessings surround her.

Tired tonight. I cleaned the garage today, like I was moving. May need a garbage truck to haul it all off. Perfect fall weather for it.

Just a short post to get my LJ started.

Saturday
I'm just enjoying myself this evening with catching up on my back log of WW emails from the Yahoo groups. Talked to Bev on IM to brainstorm some Leo/Margaret FF, hers and mine.

Lynn is working, so I'm playing hooky and haven't written anything today! Seems strange after we worked so long at getting Recovery done and posted. Need to start work on one of the WIP tomorrow! Bev is begging for some sequels to a few fics we posted recently.

I emailed the monthly update for ChipWhimWWFF!!
Yeah, actually did it on the day it was due!!

Think I'll go watch a John Spencer Video tonight.
